Jesse completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2023 from the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Prior to that she earned a degree in Kinesiology from UBC Okanagan in 2021. Jesse’s interest in health and movement stems from her many years of playing sports (hockey, basketball, track, etc) along with the injuries that followed prompting her own rehabilitation journeys.
Jesse grew up and started her career in Physiotherapy in her hometown of Airdrie Alberta. She began her career working at Lifemark Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy Clinic, as well as at Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary working with acute post-operative total joint replacements. Jesse recently relocated to beautiful Vancouver BC and is excited to join the Dunbar Physiotherapy team. She has completed her Level 1 pelvic floor therapy training and Active Hip certification. Jesse has a strong interest in pursuing further training in manipulative therapy and needling to advance her skills.
Jesse is enthusiastic and eager to help people get back to doing what they love. Whether that be sports, everyday activities, or starting new interests. She is passionate about helping, teaching and empowering others to participate in their own well-being.
Outside of work Jesse is passionate about maintaining her own health and wellness through Yoga, Pilates, and weight training. She enjoys cooking and trying new foods, reading, spending time with friends and family, and getting outside whenever possible.
