For ICBC patients, the insurer covers the first $93 of your visit. Patients are responsible for fees above this amount.
For patients eligible for MSP Supplementary Benefits / Native Status patients, MSP covers $23 per visit (limit of 10 per calendar year shared across services). Patients are responsible for any fees above this amount.
Patients under 19 years of age are eligible for the Youth Rate of $70-$85 for a 30 minute appointment.
Payment is due at the time of each visit
Missed appointments and Late Cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) are charged at the full private fee
The clinic accepts Visa, MasterCard, Debit, or cheque (payable to Dunbar Physio)

All services are paid for at the time of treatment
Receipts are provided for submission to your health plan provider.

We offer direct billing to Canada Life, Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan, Claim Secure, D.A. Townley, Desjardins, Equitable Life of Canada, Johnson Insurance, Manulife, and Pacific Blue Cross.

For patients that are eligible for Supplementary Benefits with MSP (low income, native status, disability status, etc), MSP covers a portion of the fee ($23). Patients are responsible for any fees above this amount.
The MSP coverage is for a total of 10 treatments shared between physiotherapy, non-surgical podiatry, massage therapy, naturopathy, acupuncture and chiropractic.

Please bring your claim number and BC CareCard to your first appointment
ICBC covers a portion of your therapy. Patients are responsible for any fees due at each treatment.

These joint replacement procedures done at UBC Hospital may be eligible for Physiotherapy coverage as part of the procedure
The Total Hip Replacements have 3 covered physio visits
The Total Knee Replacements have 12 covered physio visits

CareCard
Diagnostic test results relevant to your complaint (X-ray reports, CT scans or MRI results)
Suitable attire: eg. shorts, tank top
A support person should accompany you if you require assistance entering the clinic, filling out forms, changing attire, etc.

Please arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment.
Initial Appointments are typically 30-45 minutes. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow completion of outstanding paperwork.
Please complete the New Patient intake forms that are emailed to you once you book an appointment.
If you are late for your appointment, we will do our best with the remaining time.
